Steve Wlodarski, CFA
Managing Director of the Municipal Client Group

With his twenty-eight years of investment industry experience, Mr. Wlodarski is responsible for developing and executing tax-exempt investment strategies for the Company’s client portfolios. Previously, Mr. Wlodarski served as Vice President and Senior Municipal Portfolio Manager of Van Kampen Management Inc. Prior to joining Van Kampen, Mr. Wlodarski was employed in the Investment Management Group at Continental Bank. His experience in the municipal market dates to 1981 when he began his career as a municipal trader in the Capital Markets Group of First Chicago Corporation.

At First Chicago and Continental, Mr. Wlodarski gained extensive portfolio management exposure by trading every sector and maturity range in the municipal market. Mr. Wlodarski completed his B.A. in Economics at Lewis University, and has an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
