Mark J. Giura
Managing Director of the Taxable Fixed Income Client Group

Mr. Giura has twenty years of investment industry experience covering all fixed income sectors and is one of the founding members of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC. Mr. Giura manages the team responsible for developing and executing taxable fixed income investment strategies for the Company’s client portfolios. The strategies include customized core, core plus, government, international and long and short duration. From 1989 to October 2001, Mr. Giura served as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of Van Kampen Management Inc., where he focused primarily on the U.S. corporate and global fixed income sectors.

During his career, Mr. Giura has acquired broad experience in managing both short and long term taxable and tax-exempt portfolios. He received his B.A. in Accounting from St. John's University and an M.B.A., with a specialty in Finance, from the University of Chicago.
