Lawrence Jones
Portfolio Manager - Municipal Client Group

Mr. Jones serves as Portfolio Manager in the Municipal Client Group.  He has sixteen years of investment industry experience in both the municipal and taxable bond markets.  Mr. Jones is responsible for implementing tax-exempt investment strategies, with a focus on intermediate duration portfolios.  Previously, Mr. Jones was a member of the Taxable Fixed Income Client Group, where he was responsible for updating and maintaining risk management systems/reports and assisting in the analysis and implementation of taxable investment strategies.  This work included portfolio monitoring, trading and reporting for the Company's taxable separate account portfolios.  From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Jones was employed by Van Kampen Investments as a member of the mutual fund trading desk, where he was responsible for performing portfolio analysis and trading both municipal and taxable securities.  From 1993 to 1995, he was employed by Edward D. Jones & Co.  Mr. Jones received his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Iowa.
