Edward C. Wood
Executive Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Wood has over thirty years of investment experience and is responsible for directing the administration and operations functions for the Company. Prior to joining the Company in August of 2010, Mr. Wood held several senior management positions during his twenty-seven years at Van Kampen Investments, including CFO for the mutual fund complexes, COO of distribution operations and most recently as President and Principal Executive Officer of the Funds. Mr. Wood began his career at Continental Bank in Chicago where he devoted considerable study to the accounting, pricing and credit analysis of fixed income securities. He earned a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and passed the State of Illinois CPA exam in 1981.
