Kathleen A. Zarn, CPA
Director of ACS Operations

Ms. Zarn is Director of ACS Operations in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group. She has thirty years of experience in the investment industry. From 1998 to May 2004, Ms. Zarn was a Senior Vice President at Columbia Management Group (formerly Stein Roe & Farnham Incorporated), where she was the Manager of Operations for the Bank Loan Asset Management Group. As Manager of Operations, Ms. Zarn provided oversight in the areas of trade settlements, loan servicing, portfolio compliance, accounting oversight, documentation review and management and reconcilements for two mutual funds, four structured products and one privately managed portfolio. Ms. Zarn brings extensive knowledge of bank loan portfolio administration, operations and accounting, as well as experience in systems and personnel management. Prior to Columbia Management, Ms. Zarn was a Vice President for Van Kampen Investments in their Bank Loan Investment Group. While with Van Kampen, she was responsible for the management of trade documentation and bank loan covenant compliance. Ms. Zarn received a bachelor's degree from Duke University in French, and an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University.
