Vice President - Senior Distressed Credit Analyst

Mr. Champ is Vice President and Senior Distressed Credit Analyst in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group where he is responsible for the Automotive and Industrial Industries. He is also one of two general Distressed Analysts, performing workouts and restructurings. He has ten years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining McDonnell, Mr. Champ was employed from 2000 to 2004 by Columbia Management Group (formerly Stein Roe and Farnham) most recently as a generalist Credit Analyst in the Bank Loan Asset Management Group. Mr. Champ earned his B.S. degree from Wake Forest University in 2000.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the Turnaround Management Association.
